CLF London and CLF New York joint panel discussion on “What makes a great litigator?”

The London and New York Commercial Litigators’ Forum held a panel discussion on “What makes a great litigator?” including The Hon. Mrs Justice Gloster, Catherine McGregor, Managing Editor of Chambers and Partners, and in-house and private practice lawyers from London (Chaired by Hilton Mervis of SJ Berwin LLP).

The first panel comprised of in house lawyers which included Damian Bisseker of Credit Suisse, Alastair Fitzsimmons of BNY, Lawrence Guedes of Logica, Samuel Kale of Lloyds Banking Group, Harvey Kass who was formerly head of Associated Newspapers and Agnes Xavier-Phillips of GE.

Solicitors and barristers sat on the second panel. They were Simon Davis of Clifford Chance, Justin Fenwick QC, John Fordham of Stephenson Harwood, John Kingston who was former head of litigation at Travers Smith, now a practising barrister and with Harbour Litigation Funding, Alex Leitch of SJ Berwin LLP, Charles Manduca who was formerly of Hogan Lovells and is now with Woodsfords Litigation Funding and Rory McAlpine of Skadden Arps.
